Rachel, unfortunately after all the technical difficulties we had I was focused more on just getting the event going. So sad to say we didn’t get any recording. A friend of mine actually told me afterwards that he was trying to screencast it and his computer ended up crashing. So I think the best thing we could do is like you mentioned, a review of the questions and answers.

I would like to know how you guys, as designers, differentiate yourselves from the competition. Any tips for someone trying to stay afloat in a sea of DIY Designers?

I would like to know if you normally carry out user testing of your designs. If you do, how do you do it ?
Do you ever use web based tools like ClickTale, CrazyEgg to get knowledge about how users navigate on sites you’ve designed or are hired to redesign?

I’d love to know how you guys first priced your services. I think it’s really hard to come up with a good base price to start from. Not too high, not too low.
